Publications

My academic publications follow a research trajectory investigating 20th and 21st centuries philosophy and social theory. They expand upon the themes of my doctoral thesis in the Frankfurt School and enhance my research expertise in modernity, with a focus on political and social philosophy, epistemology and social theory throughout the 20th and 21st centuries.

      2. 2017: Critical Theory and Epistemology: the Politics of Modern Thought and Science, Manchester, Manchester University Press, pp. 188. The book constitutes a systematic and comparative study of the main epistemological arguments of critical theory and of the main trends in modern epistemology, focusing on the related epistemological issues that exert criticism on what is political in science and society during the twentieth and the twentieth-first centuries.
      3. 2008: The Concept of the Political in Max Horkheimer and Jürgen Habermas, Athens, Nissos Publishing House, pp. 250. The monograph is the publication of my doctoral thesis, which was submitted to the University of Sussex, U.K.>

      1. 2024: Critical Theory and the Political [editing of the volume and authoring of two chapters], Manchester, Manchester University Press [in process].The publication of the volume includes the following tasks: the completion of the editorial work, the coordination of the team of academic authors, the research coordination of the work in progress. Particularly important is the contribution of the following two chapters:
